About The Opportunity The Strategic Communications Director will design and execute a comprehensive executive communications strategy that enhances the CEO's visibility and influence on social media. This role leads social media strategy, content creation, media engagement, and speechwriting, partnering with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to craft narratives that advance the CEO's thought leadership in blockchain, fintech, and digital assets. What You'll Be Doing Social Media Strategy & Oversight: Guide the CEO's social media presence (primarily on X, formerly Twitter), ensuring content strategy aligns with brand objectives, leverages engagement best practices, and responds to industry conversations in real time. Executive Thought Leadership: Develop and implement a cohesive communications strategy to elevate the CEO's profile across owned, earned, and paid channels. Content Strategy & Development: Lead creation of high-quality content including speeches, keynote addresses, op-eds, blog posts, and LinkedIn articles. Crisis & Issues Management: Provide strategic counsel and messaging support during high-stakes situations, ensuring consistency with corporate communications. Internal & External Communications: Oversee executive messaging for internal channels, including town halls, employee memos, and strategic updates. Data & Insights: Use social listening tools and performance analytics to refine strategy and optimize impact. Team Leadership & Collaboration: Manage and mentor junior staff and coordinate with PR, marketing, and business teams to execute initiatives. What We Look For In You 8+ years of experience in executive, strategic, or corporate communications, or related fields. Proven track record in managing executive-level social media (particularly X) and building executive IP, voice development, persona positioning, speechwriting, thought leadership, and audience growth across digital platforms. Deep expertise in Web3, blockchain, fintech, or technology sectors with ability to translate complex topics into engaging narratives. Exceptional writing and storytelling skills with a portfolio of executive speeches, op-eds, and long-form content. Fluent in English and Mandarin. Experience with high-profile executives and global brands in fast-paced, high-growth environments. Data-driven mindset with experience in social listening, audience insights, and performance optimization. Nice-To-Haves Experience managing global executive communications in highly regulated industries. Expertise in reputation management, crisis communications, and brand positioning. Ability to navigate ambiguity and manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously. Bachelor's or Master's degree in communications, journalism, business, or related field.
