**Sensory & Consumer Insights Panel Management Leader**:

- As a Sensory & Consumer Insights Panel Management Leader, you will oversee all SCI Panel and Laboratory operations including infrastructure, equipment, materials and running day-to-day sensory panel operations. You will be responsible for managing descriptive sensory evaluation tests and discrimination tests by technologies and panel leaders. You will ensure efficient translation of instructions on new applied sensory science methodology and initiate regular review and revision of operation for continuous development and maintenance of a healthy, safe and hygienic working environment.**The Position**:

- Work closely with technologists and panel leaders to ensure successful completion of projects.
- Oversee descriptive sensory evaluation tests and discrimination tests.
- Ensure efficient translation of instructions on new applied sensory science methodology into everyday activities.
- Maintain a healthy, safe and hygienic working practice for all tasks undertaken.
- Ensure trained Panel Management and continuous development.
- Lead the management and maintenance of the Sensory and Consumer Science laboratories infrastructure, equipment and materials for operation.
- Initiate regular review and revision of operations.
- Develop and enhance operations of Sensory and Consumer Insights Laboratories.
- Maintain and develop effective relationships with SCI Team members and colleagues and cross functional stakeholders as appropriate.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Food Technology or Psychology, Consumer Science
- Minimum 5 years of Sensory Science experience working in the food industry or related fields
- Demonstrate good knowledge and understanding of Sensory Science, Food Science or related discipline
- Applies develop knowledge and skills to one or more specific projects
- Required to vary standardized procedures or techniques and adapt to changes in work procedures or technologies.
- Requires the ability to develop, test and evaluate options and issues.
- Self-starter, independent with good interpersonal skills managing sensory panel.
- Good communication skills, proficient in both written and spoken English
- Ability to understand and interpret relevant rules and regulations.
- Some experience in managing small team with good track record.
