As a Regional OEM LEAD, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise to the sales team, the sales channel, technical support, product engineering, R&D and the end customers. Reporting to Local Business Area Manager, you will be designing and recommending tailored solutions based on a deep knowledge of the portfolio and capabilities to meet customers’ unique needs. This position is based in Singapore.
**Your responsibilities**:
- Aiming to meet targets even in difficult circumstances. Identifying and systematically follow-up on business opportunities. Focusing energy on key tasks
- Increasing own network within the organization. Building business relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Using of CRM to track, metric, report, communicate, and forecast field activities. Supporting others on the job by sharing tool and process best practices
- Participating in sales meetings to become familiar with market and business information. Identifying opportunities for improvements based on structure customer feedback
- Dealing with simple/basic deviations in standard terms and conditions and participate in assessment of business risks
- Discussing the service portfolio with customers on a “common” level to identify the actual need and to create awareness for future activities
**Your background**:
- Experience programming various industrial PLCs (Rockwell, Siemens, Square D, or others)
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, common technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents
- Understanding of Automation Builder, AC500 PLC and CP600 HMIs
- Requires the ability to operate a variety of standard business machines, such as a computer and keyboard, calculator, telephone, photocopier, FAX, etc
