**Job Overview**

The Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring that the organisation adheres to regulatory standards, internal policies, and data protection laws. This role includes the management of ISO internal audits and functioning as the Data Protection Officer, overseeing compliance with data protection regulations.

**Key Responsibilities**

**ISO Internal Audits**: Develop and manage the ISO audit program. Conduct ISO audits to ensure compliance with international standards. Identify non-conformities and improvements; implement corrective actions.

**Regulatory Compliance and Monitoring**: Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations. Implement and oversee compliance policies and procedures.

**Training and Education**: Conduct training on ISO standards, data protection laws, and compliance requirements.
Foster ongoing education and awareness within the organization.

**Reporting and Documentation**: Document and report on ISO audit outcomes and data protection activities.
Communicate findings to senior management and regulatory bodies as necessary.

**Issue Resolution**: Investigate and address compliance breaches and data protection issues.
Develop strategies to mitigate risks and implement problem resolutions.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- **Professional Certifications**: Certification in ISO auditing (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor) and credentials as a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) or similar are highly beneficial.
- **Experience**: Strong background in compliance, ISO audits, and data protection within the MCST industry.
- **Communication Skills**: Strong skills in communicating complex legal and compliance issues effectively.
