Description
BlackRock's Client Experience Reporting team is accountable for ensuring that BlackRock meets our clients' need for data, including the provision of market leading reporting solutions and effective client service.
As a part of the Report Onboarding team you will formulate the successful delivery of critical investment reporting for our Multi-Asset Strategies and Solutions (MASS) clients.
In particular you will own the existing VBA based reporting tool and drive the ongoing evolution of our reporting solutions and tools.
You will partner with colleagues to craft and advance a globally aligned vision and business model.
Responsibilities will include the following:
Act as a lead for client reporting input on all new initiatives that will require new reporting offerings to be developed and delivered to BlackRock’s client base
Work with key partners, in our technology, compliance, project management and client service functions to design scalable solutions and target models
Assess options, capture solutions and priorities within the organization and influencing roadmaps of key partners
Influence BlackRock's client reporting strategy and offering as new report offerings come online
Constantly evaluate systems, processes and procedures for inefficiencies and make recommendations for improvement
Work closely and collaboratively with functional Regional Heads to implement business priorities in the region through a globally consistent and locally relevant approach aligned to platform, process
Demonstrate risk awareness and focus on delivering an appropriate operational control framework around client deliverables including review and validation of monthly metrics.
Complete various efficiency and capacity-building initiatives, including automation/ standardization efforts
To ensure success, you will have the following qualifications:
A keen interest in investment products with a preference of 6+years of financial services experience, especially client onboarding, communications or data
visualization
Proven track record in delivering projects and implementing solutions
Hands-on programming at advance level including automation experience with tools such as Python, VBA, SQL, RPA, Unix.
Highly developed client service skills, maturity and autonomy in dealing directly with partners
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong work ethic and willingness to go beyond the scope of one’s role to achieve team and firm objectives
Excellent attention to detail, very accurate and well organized
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to synthesize information, summaries issues and think creatively
Sharp control/risk mitigation mentality with ability to know when to raise issues
