- What you will do

The incumbent will partner with the SEA & Pacific leadership team and strategy colleagues in HQ to identify new growth opportunities, develop and execute winning strategies in South East Asia region, Hongkong and Pacific region.

This role will focus on recognizing and acting on product, channel, Go-to-market Model and analyzing aircon/technology trends including digital business models relevant to our business.

How you will do it:

- Collaborate with various teams across the business unit to drive strategy and sales by supporting the development of our annual business plan
- Formulate the business unit’s growth strategy for next 3 years, and align and execute strategic initiatives and plans with country teams and functional stakeholders
- Prepare quarterly updates of progress of strategic initiatives and action plans to senior leadership team
- Support business model changes / JV / M&A-related activities
- Define and direct business analytics by team members
- Credibly engage senior business leaders
- Build and manage relationships with the country leaders to understand the business opportunities and challenges
- Act as a bridge between the corporate HQ and the business unit’s leadership teams and influence and shape discussions to direct their focus on strategic objectives of the business
- Work closely with the corporate FP&A team to obtain financial information and support when needed
- Flexible and willing to perform varying duties depending on the shifting needs of the company

Key Measurable/Deliverables for the Position:

- Deliver the regional revenue and profit growth targets
- Define and executes strategic growth initiatives for the BU in collaboration with the country sales leaders.
- Define the Strategic Initiative Investments Targets and deliver the results

What are we looking for:

- MBA or equivalent degree(s)
- Total experience of 7-15 years
- 5 to 10 years’ working experience in strategy consulting, business management, business planning and/or corporate development
- Experience in developing and implementing go-to-market-strategies is essential.
- Experience in developing & implementing business model innovations, and transformation programs is desirable.
- Familiarity with products and processes in infrastructure development, building construction, smart cities, Retail /Distribution business model etc. desirable
- Facility with quantitative and qualitative financial and organizational analysis is essential
- Ability to work with and interpret patterns and implications working from inconsistent and disparate information
- Understanding of South East Asia Pacific market dynamics is desirable.
- M&A experience is optional
- Ability to self-direct and guide others through uncertainty and in the context of complex internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Coaching and teaching skills and a commitment to developing others
- Effective Engagement of leaders and teams in formal and informal situations in English & knowledge of other regional languages like Mandarin/ Thai / Malay /Indo is desired.
