Aiops Technical Manager

**Major Duties & Responsibilities**:
Team Leadership: Previous experience working in a collaborative role with being able to mentor junior team members with providing guidance and support to team members to ensure their professional growth and success. Position will be seen as a trusted advisor for the AIOps teams’ relationship with external stakeholders and teams.

Model Development and Deployment: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of AI models, from ideation and prototyping to testing, validation, and deployment. Monitor model performance and fine-tune algorithms as needed to maintain accuracy and effectiveness.

Collaboration and Communication: Foster collaboration between IT operations, development teams, and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI-driven improvements. Communicate the benefits and impact of AIOps solutions to non-technical stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning technologies, as well as industry best practices. Continuously seek ways to enhance AIOps processes, tools, and methodologies.

Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to AIOps implementations. Analyze and report on the effectiveness of AIOps solutions in terms of efficiency gains, incident reduction, and overall IT system performance.

Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges associated with AIOps implementations and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.

Vendor Management: Evaluate and select external vendors and technologies that can enhance AIOps capabilities. Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and performance.

**Qualifications**:
**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing teams and leading technical projects, preferably in the field of AIOps or APM operation tools. Act as a technical lead in implementing and managing AppDynamics.
- Familiarity with AIOps platforms, tools, and frameworks.
- Experience with Moogsoft Enterprise or Moogsoft Cloud
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to think critically and strategize innovative solutions.

**Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- Proven SME level experience with AppDynamics, and other AIOps technologies.
- Strong understanding of AI, machine learning, data analysis, and related technologies.
- Solid understanding of IT Infrastructure, networking, and distributed systems.
- Proficiency in configuring and customizing AppDynamics agents, dashboards, and alerts.
- Strong experience with integration of AppDynamics with other enterprise tools
- Proficiency with AppDynamics Command Line, AppDynamics API
- Troubleshooting different AppDynamics components (e.g. High Availability Controllers, Events Service clusters)
- Certifications in AppDynamics or APM-related fields are a plus.
- Experience with integration of AppDynamics and Moogsoft is a plus.
- Experience utilizing Topology Mapping to enhance AIOps ability to identify root cause, and proactive detection of issues affecting the business.
- Good understanding of Service Management (ITIL) disciplines (Service Desk, Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Event Management, Continuous Service Improvement)

For U.S-based applicants: The anticipated base pay range for this position is $95,000 - $145,000.
