**Role Overview
Join our team as a Service Ambassador / Customer Service Specialist at a prominent public hospital in Singapore. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the visitor experience. Your primary responsibility will involve actively engaging with visitors, guiding them through the procedures for visiting in-patients, and supporting them with the self-registration process at kiosks or registration counters.
**Key Duties**:
- Initiate friendly interactions with visitors, effectively facilitating their visits to the in-patient wards.
- Clearly communicate the hospital's visiting policy, ensuring visitors comprehend the self-help registration procedures.
- Respond to visitor inquiries, manage complaints professionally, including the possibility of escalating issues or making judgements about entry denial post visiting hours.
- Assist with wayfinding and address general queries from both the public and patients.
- Occasionally extend assistance to patients at various main entrances, as required.
**Requirements**:
- Possess a NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma in Service Skills.
- Exhibit a strong service-oriented mentality and a sincere enthusiasm for assisting others.
- Flexibility to work staggered shifts, covering a range from 7:45 AM to 9:00 PM, including weekends and public holidays (5-day work week).
- Able to stand for long hours.
- Ideally, a minimum of 1 year of prior customer service experience in a dynamic work environment.
