**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage buying projects from inception to completion, optimize resources, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
- Develop a costing database and processes to standardize decision-making related to procurement costs.
- Identify opportunities to enhance current buying processes, implement best practices, and drive continuous improvement.
- Support the end-to-end sourcing process, ensuring optimal supplier selection and contract management.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Category Planning, Product Design, Engineering and Quality teams, to support product launches.

**Key Requirements**:

- At least 5-7 years of experience in buying, procurement, or project management within the furniture or consumer goods industry, with a strong understanding of the buying process.
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in data analysis to support decision-making processes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and presenting ideas clearly.
- Solid negotiation skills with experience in supplier management and contract negotiations.
- High level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in cost analysis, project documentation, and procurement processes.
- Proficiency in project management software, spreadsheets, and databases; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adjusting priorities and strategies as needed to meet changing business requirements.
- Strong verbal and written command in English and Chinese (due to close collaboration with China's team).
