Roles & Responsibilities

  • Plan, process, and execute EVCo electric Mobility as a Service strategy that consists of leases, lease-to-owned and EVCo owned vehicles
  • Run the day-to-day operation of entire vehicle fleet, ensuring that the business is legally compliant and cost effective with maximum vehicle availability
  • Consolidate, monitor, and manage fleet rental and leasing costs to ensure maximum efficient utilization is achieved across the various markets
  • Plan and prepare annual budget, expenditures, and analyse all financial objectives in consultation with the Head of Supply Chain and coordination with Head of Finance
  • Facilitate and implement corrective actions and capacity building to handle the entire fleet to achieve EVCo business objectives
  • Maintain all fleet logistics including all aspects of costs and profits, from vehicle wear to energy costs
  • Build and maintain databases of rentals, leases, sales, registration, inspections, and maintenance of fleet within the EVCo intelligent Asset Management System
  • Own relationships with partners and vendors for rentals, leases, purchases, insurance, maintenance, repair facilities, and vehicle telematics
  • Work with Strides Auto Services team and workshop business partners to investigate and examine vehicle accidents and warranty claims, identify trends, and implement measures to reduce and prevent future waste
  • Streamline data management system, routine maintenance, and ad hoc maintenance
  • Ensure fleet operation in compliance with local rules and regulations
  • Meet and establish fleet KPIs and ensure EVCo policies and procedures are applied

Skills & Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of demonstrated ability in Fleet Management or Operations Leadership
  • Experience establishing relationships and collaborating with fleet vendors
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship building skills
  • A great teammate with an entrepreneurial mind set and ability to problem solve
  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Start-up experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong project management skills
