Remote, Singapore Howden Group Holdings Full time

From day one, our mission has been to create an independent business with a unique culture - one that is controlled by the people who work for it. Finding the most talented and entrepreneurial people has always been key to our success.

People come to Howden Group Holdings for lots of different reasons, but they stay for the same one: our culture. That’s what sets us apart, and why we nurture and retain the best talent in the market. Whatever your priorities - work/life balance, career progression, sustainability, volunteering - you’ll find like-minded people driving change at Howden Group.

There is a requirement for a Project Manager within Project Champion to identify, plan, track and deliver the outcomes required from the Communications and Culture workstreams to support the set-up of the HUK&I Business.

This is a home based role with travel required across our UK sites, mainly London and Manchester. The role is offered on a 12 month fixed term contract.

The key elements of the role will include:
- Working alongside the Workstream Leads, other Project Managers, Suppliers and key stakeholders to identify and execute the deliverables and sequencing that achieve the project outcomes- Production of the Project Initiation Documents (PIDs) for both workstreams and all identified projects, ensuring these go through the quality assurance steps as outlined in the Project Champion governance process- Engagement with all workstreams within the programme to understand key communication events, ensuring regular engagement with these workstreams to monitor progress- Production of the project plans, ensuring that the tasks to achieve the deliverables are captured with resources, dates and completion milestones- Identification of any cross project dependencies and agreement with the relevant PM on delivery dates and tracking mechanism- Agreement of the baseline dates for the key deliverables in conjunction with the Integration Management Office (IMO) so these can be captured in the Programme Plan alongside any cross-project dependencies- Management of the project plans ensuring updates are captured in line with the IMO governance timetable, ensuring slippages to baseline are proactively flagged to the IMO to ascertain the wider impact to the programme and enable remedial decision making- Identification, capture and management of any project risks, assumptions, issues and decisions in line with the IMO governance process- Production of the monthly Executive Sponsor review pack in line with the IMO governance timetable and agreement on any escalations to the Programme SteerCo- Management of the workstream budgets ensuring any requests for additional spend are captured through the change control process, quarterly review and update of project forecast based on spend to date- Attendance at the Project Champion governance meetings in line with the published timetable, providing key updates for the projects as required- Identification and management of key stakeholders for the project

Deliverables and Benefits:
- PIDs for both the Communications and Culture workstreams- Project Plans for both the Communications and Culture workstreams- Monthly Executive Sponsor review packs- Risks, assumptions, issues and decisions log- The key benefit for this role will be to ensure that the outcomes from these projects are clearly defined and that the plan to achieve these outcomes is agreed with the Business SMEs and Suppliers. This will enable these resources to focus on producing the products required to time, cost and quality whilst the Project Manager provides the delivery assurance to the IMO and key stakeholders through the project control documents, providing updates to these groups in line with the IMO governance timetable.- This will ensure that Programme communications are planned, drafted, approved and distributed in a timely manner, and that the agreed scope of the Culture Workstream is translated into a set of clearly defined products that can be delivered, tested and trained to colleagues within the HUK&I business.

What do we offer in return?

A career that you define.

Yes, we offer all the usual rewards and benefits - including great healthcare provision, a wide variety of wellbeing offers, competitive salary, generous pensions and more - but we know you expect all that.

What you might not expect is a job where everyone has a voice, where volunteering in the community is part of the day job, and where everyone is encouraged to play a part towards our sustainability goals. We want people who want to make a difference - not just in the workplace, but in the industry and in the wider community.

Our Culture: People First

We are proud to be at the global table, but we are most proud of our culture. It has been built on a single and constant set of principles over more than 25 years, and it has helped us become:
