**The Opportunity**

MMA Offshore has an opportunity for a Crew Allocation Officer to join our Offshore HR / Crewing team. The Crew Allocation Officer will manage the sourcing and allocation of marine crew to vessels in accordance with company, industry and legislative requirements. The role will provide guidance and advice to internal stakeholders while ensuring MMA Offshore’s obligations, policy and procedures are met.

This is a full-time permanent position based in our Singapore office and reporting directly to our HR Manager Offshore Operations.

Your stakeholder management, critical thinking and integrity will enable you to partner with our business and engage with our employees and contractors to ensure that the right person is in the right position at the right time.

**Duties**:

- Work in collaboration with other MMA workgroups, ensuring that only verified competent and qualified crew are mobilised to vessels, based on the overall business priorities and values
- Reduce operational costs to the business by reducing rework, increasing crew retention and reducing travel and related expenses where appropriate
- Provides high standards of customer service, effective crew allocation services and accuracy of work to achieve business objectives and meet the needs and expectations of customers
- Compliance with all people, safety, technical and business systems
- Demonstrate behaviours that are consistent with our systems and processes

**Skills and Experience**:

- Degree in Maritime Studies or its equivalent
- Minimum 5 years' experience in crewing or managing human related logistics for offshore vessels
- Knowledge of STCW / MLC regulations is a must
- Familiarity with flag state regulations for Malaysian and Singapore flagged vessels is a requirement
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Demonstrable analytical, communication and attention to detail capabilities
- The ability to articulate and demonstrate the importance of systems and processes in the achievement of operational outcomes
- Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships in a dynamic operational environment
