Our algorithms batch orders and aggregate 3PL quotes, finding the best delivery options. Merchants make use of our wide choice of delivery windows to dispatch orders in a smarter manner. And platforms and marketplace use our APIs to launch delivery services in a matter of days

In short, fewer rides but more deliveries in the ecosystem. And for merchants, higher revenues at lower costs.

About the Role

Rida is looking for an awesome and talented UX Designer to join the product development team.

**Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the Chief Product Officer (CPO), you will play a pivotal role within the product development team. You will be tasked with evaluating and improving existing products in addition to conceptualising the UX on new greenfield projects.
- Conduct customer discovery and present UX research
- Document user journey mapping
- Be empathetic and champion a user first approach
- Create wireframes
- Produce high-fidelity mockups
- Prepare design assets/specifications for the engineering team
- Stay up to date with latest UX best practices, trends and white papers
- Posses a keen eye for design
- Build and maintain design systems
- Assist PM's to visualise new ideas
- Identify and address UX debt
- Participate in regular meetings with internal stakeholders
- Strive for pixel perfection to design visually compelling user interfaces
- Test and critique engineering implementation
- Define and track KPI metrics to measure success of feature X
**Requirements**:

- 4+ years experience in a related role
- Proficient with at least 2 of the following:

- Sketch
- Adobe XD
- Figma
- Adobe Photoshop
- Clear and confident communicator
- Have designed mobile and web apps
- Have previous experience developing a digital product
- Have a portfolio with relevant examples
- Growth mindset
- Takes constructive feedback well
- Excited to work in a face paced high growth startup
- Creative yet pragmatic thinker
Nice to have
- Relevant academic background
- Experience building clickable prototypes
- Familiarity with Scrum process
- Previous exposure to delivery, logistics industry
- Proactive and questions the status quo
- Positive outlook
- Bad/inappropriate use of fonts upsets you
- Passionate about aesthetic simplicity
- Previous startup experience
- Rudimentary understanding of business 101
