Manager, UX Design

**We are looking for a UX manager for our Messaging team in the International Business Unit**

As a UX Manager in the International Business Unit, you will lead a UX design team, supporting initiatives that enable Indeed to deliver the right job for all job seekers.

The Messaging team specifically focuses on delivering creative and impactful solutions that address job seeker and employer needs in international markets by extending the Indeed experience through messaging platforms such as LINE, Whatsapp etc.

**Your job**:

- Mentor and inspire designers and cross-functional teams _(in product management, engineering, design engineering, UX research and content design)_ to deliver solutions that meet global user needs.
- Help your team collaborate and partner with other UX teams to maintain a good end-to-end user experience across Indeed surfaces.
- Lead design reviews to ensure high UX quality deliverables from all team members.
- Triage work requests and manage team resources to maximize impact. Be hands-on when needed to balance team workload with priorities.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional leadership to help inform future roadmaps and turn vision into reality.
- Grow and develop the UX team by facilitating career development for all team members as well as identifying future staffing needs and driving necessary hiring activities.
- Be an advocate for international users within Indeed.

**Who You Are**:
- 2+ years of managing local and remote UX teams
- 6+ years of _product_ user experience with an accompanying portfolio - we are interested in the design solutions, not just design artifacts.
- Experience working on UX for international products.
- Relentless attention to detail.
- Experience with design thinking frameworks, as well as translating UX research insights into design experiences that address user pains and delights users.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. _Japanese is a plus._
- Ability to collaborate flawlessly with partner teams in Product, Engineering and other UX teams etc.
- Experience with consumer web-based products and mobile-first product design. _Product experience with elements of conversational UX or on messaging platforms is a plus._

**Salary Range Disclaimer**:
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.

**Salary Range Transparency**:
Singapore 135,000 - 195,000 SGD per year
