**SAP BI/BW HANA PM - Role Description**

This is a full-time remote SAP BI/BW HANA Project Manager role at VUPICO. You will manage and deliver complex SAP BI/BW HANA projects in this role. You will work with cross-functional teams to define project scope, budgets, and timelines, and oversee all project lifecycle phases - planning, design, development, testing, and deployment. You will also manage project risks and issues, communicate project status to stakeholders, and ensure timely project delivery that meets or exceeds customer expectations.

- **Responsibilities**:_

**Interfacing with Business Leaders**: Collaborate with business leaders to understand their BI needs and requirements. Estimate the BI effort required for each initiative.

**Interfacing with Technical and Business Organizations**: Work with technical and business teams across the enterprise to ensure that BI solutions align with organizational goals and requirements.

**Lead Development and Continuous Improvement**: Take the lead in developing BI solutions and continually enhance and optimize existing BI systems.

**Analytical and Technical Leadership**: Provide leadership and guidance in the BI and reporting environment, offering your expertise in analytics and technology.

**Review Team's Work**: Review the design of reports and dashboards created by team members to ensure they adhere to established methodologies, standards, and industry best practices.

**Mentorship**: Mentor and support junior-level Business Solutions Analysts, helping them develop their skills and knowledge.

**Performance Evaluation**: Evaluate the performance of associates, write and deliver performance reviews, and establish career goals for team members.

**Resource Management**: Forecast and manage resource capacity, and determine delivery dates for BI requests to ensure efficient project management.
- **Qualifications for BI Lead**:_

**PMP Certification**: Preferred, which indicates project management expertise.

**SAP-BI Tools Experience**: At least 10 years of hands-on experience with SAP BI tools, including HANA CDS View, HANA CV, BW Modeling, Analysis for Office (AFO), SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and more.

**AFO & SAC Security Experience**: Familiarity with security aspects of Analysis for Office (AFO) and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).

**Greenfield BI Implementations**: Experience with 2 to 3 greenfield BI implementations is preferred, indicating experience in building BI solutions from scratch.

**Team Leadership**: A minimum of 3-4 years of experience leading and managing a team of 10 developers, demonstrating leadership and managerial skills.

**BODS Experience**: While not mandatory, experience with Business Objects Data Services (BODS) is considered a plus.

**Functional Knowledge**: Functional knowledge in areas like Supply Chain, Planning, and Budgeting is beneficial, as it can help in understanding and addressing specific business needs.
