Love, Bonito is a digital-first company on a mission to empower the everyday Asian woman and inspire self-confidence. We are the leading direct-to-consumer womenswear brand, headquartered in Singapore, with an omni-channel presence across Indonesia and Malaysia, a retail franchise in Cambodia, and are fast expanding into international markets namely Japan, Hong Kong SAR China and United States of America.
Founded in 2010, we are proudly female-founded with more than 70% female representation across our organisation, leadership and STEM roles (#girlpower). We raised a US$50M Series C round in 2021 and know that we’re on the cusp of something great, where we’re working towards becoming the most thoughtful brand globally, for the Asian female consumer, especially when it comes to our products, community and experiences.

**The role**
People are at the heart of everything we do. With our rapid expansion, it is becoming more important than ever that we do it right As our Senior People & Business Partner, People & Culture, you will play an integral role in the building of our Love, Bonito team and family. Reporting into our Chief People Officer, you will work alongside her in creating a passionate and high performing team, in a culture of openness, learning, operational excellence, collaboration, honesty and innovation.

**Main responsibilities (including but not limited to)**
- Business Partnering
- Partner all International Markets, alongside our CPO, in for the following strategic aspects: organisational development, talent management, performance management, people development, recruitment, people operations, and employee relations.
- Provide advisory guidance to existing markets in Malaysia and Indonesia, as well as developing our P&C blueprint for New Markets.
- Organisational Effectiveness (Partnering with CoEs within P&C)
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities for programs and policies to address local, in-market needs
- Advise on practices related to workforce planning, workforce analytics and organisational effectiveness with respect to the business
- Lead key organisational changes and initiatives (e.g. redesigned purpose and culture, values, ways of working, competencies) in partnership with CoEs
- Lead leader and team effectiveness interventions and measure results (e.g. team leader assimilation)
- Advance the impact of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion by engaging the our People to partner in driving solutions
- Analyse trends and metrics in partnership with the CoEs to develop solutions, programs and policies (e.g. attrition, engagement)
- Rewards & Performance Management
- Lead and drive performance management and compensation cycles for the business
- Coach and support business leaders in decisions to attract, engage and retain employees, while ensuring compliance to internal C&B frameworks, global policies, and local legal regulations
- Conduct bi-yearly salary benchmarking via Salary Board (excluding Japan), and ESOS benchmarking via Qapita
- Workforce & Succession Planning
- Assist Finance with Headcount & Payroll forecasting
- Work with Finance on continuous workforce planning, i.e. monitoring and refining budgets, allocating headcount
- Work with vendors or internal Data & Finance teams to identify opportunities to automate or create dashboards for workforce planning
- Work with our CPO to implement and facilitate talent reviews and succession plans, to ensure approaches, methodologies, outcomes, and follow-ups are consistent globally
- Policy Control
- Formulate and implement global People policies and guidelines in line with in-market frameworks and best practices
- Review existing policies and related processes to meet with current and future needs of the organisation and trends
- People Management:
- Lead the Business Partner & People Operations team in the delivery and implementation of HRIS, Payroll, Compensation & Benefits, as well as Talent Management initiatives
