**Role Summary**
At ENGIE South East Asia, we set very ambitious target to help our Clients decarbonize through various pathways, i.e. energy efficiency projects, district cooling systems, solar power generation, etc. We believe that we can achieve this target with No Life At Risk, which is the underlying principle in everything we do. As the Regional HSSE Manager, you play an important role in this mission. Right from setting the fundamentals, galvanizing the collective efforts, continuously improving the way we work, you will be the lead driver to deliver our solutions safely to the Clients.
Reporting to the Country Head for HSSE & Head of Project Delivery Office, you will lead and administer our HSSE Management System. In this role, you need to work closely with various stakeholders to ensure that our HSSE Management System is robust and effective. There is plenty of room to grow as we inch towards Excellence in Health, Safety, Security, and Environment performance

**Key Responsibilities**
**HSSE policy, execution and performance**
- Develop & update HSSE policies, guidelines, practices, management systems & tools to reflect Group's requirements, ensuring they are implemented across entities.
- Implement ENGIE One Safety Transformation program across SEA cluster.
- Review entities HSSE workplan, ensuring alignment with Group's & SEA objectives.
- Ensure compliance with all latest local HSSE statutory requirements and legislations, locally and regionally.
- Monitor and improve HSSE performance, including providing on-the-ground support to entities as required. Support not limited to SEA cluster, also entities within country level.
- Regular site visits, include regional, to audit & ensuring Group’s/SEA Internal Control in place, identifying improvement & follow up on actions
- Perform annual review of HSSE performance & identify gaps for improvement.
- Consolidate & validation of monthly HSSE statistics, EARTH reporting, ENGIE Ways of Working (Wow) & actions, preparation, security reports & submission to various parties, and to consolidate report for Executive Committee meetings.
- Conduct HSSE inspection, leads & provide support in Major events / accident investigation where necessary, across entities & recommends improvement actions, sharing across entities to prevent reoccurrence.
- Investigating, evaluating & reporting of Fatal/LTA/HiPo (High Potential) events to Group & cluster.
- Crisis Management - Training to Managers on Duty, organize & execution of Crisis drills and coordination between Group, AMEA (Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa), country & entities. Monitor crisis situation across entities with ISOS travel, identify & highlight any security matters.
- Screening, evaluation & approval on H&S criteria for vendors.
**Training and competency development**
- Review and identify HSSE related training requirements for various category of staff and onsite contractors to meet the mandatory requirement and also to meet the job requirement.
- Lead, guide & train trainers across SEA cluster & develop training material/videos, organize and conduct training for Leadership in Health & Safety for Managerial staff. Ensure all mandatory HSSE training are conducted and participated by staff/contractors
- Identify and propose new initiatives/continual process improvement for implementation across entities.
