Our client is a multi-billion-dollar investment management company with a strong commitment on ESG. They are looking for an energetic and resourceful Regional Head of Sustainability/ESG to join their existing team in Singapore.

Job Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with other departments to establish the company's internal ESG policies, systems, and processes.
- Lead the ESG technical input for project execution across all stages of development.
- Conduct due diligence and impact studies for project execution and asset acquisitions, including construction-related permitting, impact assessments, management plans, etc.
- Oversee ESG-related budgets.
- Implement environmental and social requirements tied to project financing.
- Engage proactively with communities and develop and implement a community investment strategy, including asset-level Community Investment Plans.
- Conduct environmental and social impact assessments, monitoring, and reporting.
- Create plans to lower carbon emissions and devise a transition plan.
- Make recommendations for managing crucial ESG issues internally and on projects.
- Manage crucial internal and external stakeholder relationships.

Job Requirements:

- A minimum of ten years' experience in the infrastructure industry.
- Strong expertise in the ESG aspects of project finance.
- Prior involvement in power projects in the APAC region.
- A bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
- Fluency in English is required for both internal and external stakeholder relationship management duties.
