**Cost Accountant (BOM/Inventory/Stock/Cost Control/Budgeting/Forecasting)**

**Responsibilities**:

- Daily and month end Cost Roll using in
- house built Costing System
- Support Production to follow-up BOM, inventory and production usage and to resolve ad-hoc issues that will affect the accuracy of costing by products
- Perform physical stock -take during month end and prepare inventory aging listing
- Handles month end closing (check input data, run costing system, check output reports, long term inventory and generate journal vouchers)
- Review P&L impact and assist in balance sheet commentary.
- Handles Quarter end closing reporting
- Prepare presentation slides and to do physical presentation to Management
- Training by MJA when necessary
- Handles head quarters enquires
- Support MD, Sales and production members for requested costing analysis by product
- Involves in Internal Controls, JSOX and statutory audit
- Prepare yield loss report and liaise with all departments especially production staff on costing issues.
- Other Ad-Hoc project as and when required

**Requirements**:

- Min Diploma in Accountancy with at least 5 years of costs accounting experience
- Prior experience in manufacturing company is essential.
- Good communication skill, dynamic and a good team player
- Good in numerical, problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong in excel, power point and accounting system
