Your expertise will contribute to optimizing our cost management processes, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and providing valuable financial insights to support strategic decision-making.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Standard cost updates and variance analysis
- Manufacturing Costs, Overheads & Absorption and Purchase Price Variance analysis
- Assisting in month-end closing and margin analysis/COGS analysis
- Analysing trends and financial performance across business units
- Cost rollup and quarterly forecasting and raw material cost review
- Develop actual/estimate product cost to support business pricing and product profitability.
- Construct data accumulation systems and manage cost information to maximize profitability for our company.
- Accountable for annual plan activities on product costing, inventory reconciliations and valuations.
- Identify and recommend cost-effective solutions.
- Generate periodic reports to the Management Team, detailing the analyses and comparison of factors affecting prices and profitability of products.
- Accounting for inventory costs, able to analyse intercompany profit elimination reporting and allocation claims.
- Account for inventory obsolescence and write-offs by working closely with the Supply Chain and other stakeholders.
- Ensure process integrity within Manufacturing, Intercompany, and Inventory while working with cross-functional peers to resolve process issues.
- Maintain relationships with Business Partners and Accounting peers to address information reporting needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance
- An accreditation such as certified public accountant (CPA) or certified management accountant (CMA) will be an added advantage
- Experience (Min. 5 years) in Cost Accounting role within the FMCG industry in Malaysia. Particularly in a manufacturing set up with a regional set up.
- Problem-solving, critical thinking, and investigative skills
- Good understanding of manufacturing and cost accounting processes
- Willingness to be based in Indonesia

Language proficiency in Bahasa is a plus
