**Roles & Responsibilities**

**IT Support Engineer**

Reporting to IT Manager & Firm Partners

Overall job objectives
- Maintains and performs IT support functions on local servers

Core responsibilities
- Administration and maintenance of the server to ensure day-to-day operations are not disrupted.
- To perform regular maintenance schedule and vulnerabilities checks at a regular basis, identifying and reporting serious issues to IT manager and senior partner.
- To identify latest and upcoming vulnerability issues / data breaches and regularly report items to IT manager.
- To provide technical support involving installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of all IT equipment and software.
- Answer to ad-hoc issues pertaining to technical glitches, bugs or hardware issues.
- To maintain inventory of hardware and software - Involves requisition and disposals process.
- To install and configure PCs and associated peripherals and software.
- To assist in the compilation and updating of the technical documentation, guidelines and procedures, in accordance to best practice(s).
- To perform regular audit(s) on laptops to ensure compliance with company security and data policies.
**Requirements**:

- Prior experience in IT support is preferred.
- Diploma in IT or equivalent(s).
- Able to execute IT solutions by adhering to procedures and compliance with IT policies and plans.
- Responsible and independent worker. Self-disciplined.
- Appetite for learning, even at an independent level.
- Team player and able to communicate widely to all levels of hierarchy.
**Salary : Up to $3500**
