**JOB SUMMARY**:
As the Regional Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) you will support GATE Energy PTE. LTD. in
Singapore in all HR related activities. This position is responsible for implementing HR organizational
objectives as well as following Corporate Governance.
The Regional HRBP has strong knowledge in employment law and government regulations. This
position supports execution of corporate programs, compensation, and benefits plans. Oversees
the HR processes and procedures and partners with Leadership and Operations to provide
guidance and employee support.
In this role you will ensure the accuracy of employee records, as well as certifying regulations are
followed. You will be responsible for providing data analytics and sharing insight reports with senior
members of the team.
The Regional HRBP works well in a team environment and can communicate well with various
stakeholders. Possesses an analytical mind and displays keen insight into data to address issues and
find solutions to work challenges.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- HR Professional with International HR Experience in Singapore and surrounding areas.
- Regional HRBP is the single-point-of contact for day-to-day HR processes including but not
limited to recruiting, hiring, employee relations, administering leaves and terminations.
- Experience dealing with Ministry of Manpower (MOM), Employment Act and any
compliance / reporting requirements.
- Applies best practices in all HR processes and procedures.
- Assist in obtaining and maintaining Biz Safe status.
- Assist in obtaining Employment and Dependent Passes for employees and filing the proper
paperwork with MOM.
- Responsible for keeping employee data current and accurate in the local HR and Payroll
system.
- Responsible for mobilizing and demobilizing Expat personnel.
- Knowledgeable in Immigration and Visa requirements.
- Ensure compliance with SSIC and SSSC requirements.
- Establish policies, procedures, in recruitment, compensation, and benefits with corporate
guidance.
- Document HR processes/procedures for the Singapore office.
- Onboarding / offboarding of leadership and technical staff.
- Responds to employee inquiries, provides information requiring a broad knowledge of
functions.
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion. We expect strict confidentiality
concerning GATE policies, compensation and benefits with internal & external GATE parties.
- Work closely with the Finance and Accounting team to provide payroll support as needed.
- Support invoicing with respect to missed work due to medical or sick leave.
- Play active role in formulating methods to improve employment policies, practices and
recommend change to management as needed.
- Assist in development and implementation of various HR programs, culture initiatives and
other HR related projects per Corporate.
- Maintain HR and training records and compiles reports from files and database as needed.
- Comply with and participate in HSE program; liaison for human resources and health and
safety/environmental department.
- Ensure new employees are set-up with job essentials (i.e., computer, phone, office supplies)
- Employee relations special projects, i.e., charitable events, medical clinics, special events
- Monitor the use of equipment and supplies within the office (order supplies)
- Prepare and analyze workforce metrics to support organizational and business decisions.
- Able to travel internationally as needed.
- Proactively work to create positive and professional culture within GATE Singapore.
- Responsible for being up to date on COVID-19 guidelines and providing necessary
communication to employees.
- Assist with travel arrangements as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
**EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION**:
- Minimum 8 years direct human resources experience required; preferred with oil and gas
industry experience.
- Diploma/ Degree or equivalent required.
- Associates or bachelor’s degree in human resources preferred
- Knowledge of Singapore employment law and general office protocol required
- Experience in a dynamic, high-growth, rapidly changing organization
- Effective people skills with ability to communicate/manage well at all levels
- High level of integrity and dependability with strong sense of urgency and results oriented
- Ability to multi-task, meet tight deadlines
- Must work well with others in team environment
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Exhibit professionalism and be customer focused
- Continue to update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading
technical publications
- Outstanding communication skills and able to articulate well in written and verbal
communication
