**About The Role**:
This includes understanding the market, our competitors, developing prospects, booking appointments with, and presenting to decision makers and closing deals over the phone.
**_ Roles & Responsibilities_**
- Proactively call and engage with all incoming prospects doing 50+ calls day. And 25+ demos a month. This involves following up on scored leads everyday: pay wall hits on our websites, first month registrants and trial requests.
- Research and understand the market whilst working closely with the Sales Team leader to identify and target key sectors, through intelligent use of the information and data PEI produces.
- Contribute to the growth of the subscription products by exceeding new subscription business revenue targets.
- Ensure colleagues within the company fully informed of your activities and of all developments within the marketplace, both informally and through formal reporting to the Head of EMEA & APAC Sales Manager
- Assess sales literature used by the team and take a view as to whether it can be improved. If so, co-ordinate this work and ensure each team member uses this in an effective way
- Contribute to ad hoc projects, reporting & data studies and you will have the opportunity to attend PEI events to network with prospects and subsequently contact to pitch relevant services as required.
- Ensure all sales support tasks are completed accurately and to specified deadlines
- Deliver positive, well-researched and tailored sales presentations to prospective customers. This includes (a) researching the prospective customer (b) identifying relevant profiles/articles in advance of meetings to best demonstrate how the service will suit them.
- Proactively engage with PEI Client Engagement Executives and trialists to ensure that the prospective customer is convinced of the product(s) value to their work. Define decision making process and persuade them to purchase PEI’s services over the phone.
- Create and maintain accurate up-to-date records in our Microsoft CRM, ensuring best practise on internal processes. Ensure all exchanges with prospective customers including issues, opportunities and useful information are fully recorded and evaluated.
- Have a thorough understanding of the market and products. Liaise with colleagues within the business in order to keep up to date with the latest product developments and through your own research

**_Qualifications & Experience_**
- Minimum 3+ year of successful subscription sales experience in a SaaS or equivalent subscription sales environment / experience
- Track record hitting targets and KPIs, doing 50+ calls day.
- Experience in following a systematic sales process
- Objection handling experience
- Fluent in English as our business language, other languages desirable but not essential
