Senior Research Fellow

We are looking for a Senior Research Fellow to conduct to achieve our KPIs, such as publishing papers and presenting findings in conferences, proposed for the research projects in the Saheki lab at LKCMedicine. The role will focus on the overall successes of the ongoing projects, in particular the ones require iPSCs or _C. elegans_, in the Saheki lab. Our lab is built on _diversity_, _mutual respect_, _teamwork_, and _collaboration_, with a special emphasis on providing _mentorship_ for young talent, including students and postdocs. Responsibilities:
- Carry out an independent research project and collaborate with other researchers.
- Supervise junior members of the lab, including graduate students and undergraduate interns.
- Keep a log of lab materials as necessary (e.g., cell lines, plasmid DNAs, proteins, _C. elegans_ strains, and other essential reagents).
- Present research at lab meetings and national/ international conferences.
Skills and qualifications:
- Self-motivated and well-organized with good communication and technical skills.
- Experience in either one of the following fields: cell biology, mice or invertebrate genetics, imaging and/ or biochemistry (e.g., protein purification, _in vitro_ reconstitution) is essential.
- Be able to work independently and collaborate effectively in a highly diverse and interdisciplinary team.
