Regional Transportation Analyst

Job Description Summary

This is a Greater Asia Regional role based in Singapore with responsibilities for the analysis, management and execution of logistics and transportation across all business segments of BD.

He/ She will analyze performance, lead-time, and supply chain costs; and will then drive continuous improvement programs and initiatives with BD source sites, with our distributors, and with our logistics and transportation providers and to successfully onboard all legacy BD and Board 3PL into BD’s freight validation tool with analytics for the Greater Asia Region.

Job Purpose

This is a Greater Asia Regional role based in Singapore with responsibilities for the analysis, management and execution of logistics and transportation across all business segments of BD.

He/ She will analyze performance, lead-time, and supply chain costs; and will then drive continuous improvement programs and initiatives with BD source sites, with our distributors, and with our logistics and transportation providers and to successfully onboard all legacy BD and Board 3PL into BD’s freight validation tool with analytics for the Greater Asia Region.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive logistics operations excellence in Greater Asia around on-time execution, losses and damage, track & trace, freight payment and Supply Chain quality.
- Collaborate with Global & Regional Transportation, Business and Functional teams in region and countries to review and improve international and local delivery performance, supply chain quality and supply chain cost.
- Collaborate with Global & Regional Transportation to ensure effective service from intercompany source sites and global logistics providers, this includes: quarterly business reviews, service level agreements and metrics/reporting.
- Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to ensure effective service from the Singapore Regional Distribution Center and from regional logistics providers, this includes: quarterly business reviews, service level agreements and metrics/reporting.
- Create and document the end to end business and system process flow diagrams related to transportation and distribution. This includes the freight billing validation and payment process to vendors.
- Collaborate with functional teams and contribute to the successful execution of the Cost To Serve strategy for Greater Asia.
- Demonstrate Continues Improvement and problem-solving ability that allows for effective and timely resolution of process related. Work with stake holders to drive continuous improve initiatives
- Develop and be part of the supply chain team to re-engineer a cost-effective and customer centric supply chain solution for the Greater Asia region while still meeting all compliance, quality and regulatory requirements.
- Understand latest technology development related to Logistics, build Business Case and implement Preparation of KPI and logistics report
- Support logistics department in the preparation work for internal and external audits such as annual warehouse cycle count, Sarbane Oxley audit, GDPMDS audit etc.
- Preparation and standardization of reports in Greater Asia. Perform any other tasks as assigned
