Building Trades Worker
**Job Description Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**:
Install new lift and escalator systems according to specifications and drawing. Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure project deadlines are met. Respond to emergency breakdowns and carry out necessary repairs efficiently. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work completed. Ensure compliance with workplace safety and health regulations. Perform duties as per assigned by the supervisor

**Requirements**:
Proven experience as a lift or escalator installer/technician. Ability to read technical drawings and schematics. Good mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Physically fit and comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces. Strong adherence to safety protocols and industry standards. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various job sites as required. Willingness to work overtime, on-call, or night shifts if required.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
Prior experience working with major lift brands. Certification in mechanical or electrical engineering, or a related field, is preferred. Familiarity with Building & Construction Authority (BCA) regulations.
