Building Trades Worker (M&E)
**Job Description Summary**
The role involves ensuring safety and compliance during work tasks, including inspecting PPE, ladders, and equipment, setting up worksite barricades, and conducting ceiling inspections using various access tools. Post-work, the role requires reinstating the worksite and submitting reports. Ongoing training is required to stay updated on safety procedures and work-at-height techniques.
**About the Role**:
- Inspect PPE, ladders, and equipment to ensure they are safe and valid for use. Review work instructions and highlight potential risks.
- Set up barricades, attend safety briefings, inspect PPE, and identify hazards before and during work.
- Access concealed ceilings using ladders, scaffolds, or MEWP for visual inspection while ensuring fall-arrest points are secure.
- Reinstate the worksite after tasks, ensure compliance with standards, and submit service/work reports on time.
- Attend refresher training, stay updated on work-at-height safety, and learn from past incident case studies.
**About You**:
- Diploma in Facilities Management / Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Building Services or equivalent.
- 2 years relevant Facilities Operation experience in a FM service provider / factories / owner.
