**Your background**
- 5+ years of experience in relevant fields
- Prior management or team leadership/ project management skills
- Third Party risk and relationship management skills and knowledge of regulatory requirements applicable to Third Party Management.
- Able to manage competing priorities and work effectively across multiple organizational units
- Ability to work across multiple functional teams to set direction, build consensus and effectively solve problems
- Has intellectual curiosity, Self-directed, detail-oriented, organized, and exercises good judgment
- Ability to evaluate a situation, make decisions and provide clear direction
- Ability to negotiate and influence at all levels both internally to the Bank and with Senior Executives at vendor companies
- A self-starter with ambition and drive and exhibits ability to proactively follow up and get results
- Interested in contributing to the organization and is goal-oriented
- Able to communicate in a clear, concise manner with strong written and verbal language skills
- Strong in Microsoft Office suite skills, particularly with Excel, PowerPoint; able to create/deliver effective presentations.

**What you can expect**

The Vendor Manager manages a team of Vendor Managers aligned to multiple FLU organisations. The manager is accountable to ensure that a portfolio of vendor relationships is managed effectively in accordance with the Third-Party Management program requirements and FLU strategies. Collectively, the team manages the performance and mitigates risk for vendors aligned to high risk product or service categories which cross multiple lines of business. Vendor Management identifies potential risks, implements key controls, and validates that performance and risk objectives are met through contract adherence. Vendor Managers collaborate with Global Procurement in establishing appropriate contractual terms and serves as the primary liaison between Vendor and FLU Process Owners and their designees.

**What you will do**
- Provides effective team and resource management for a team of Vendor Managers, including one-on-ones, performance management, development opportunities, recognition, promotions, team meetings, hiring, training, Employee Engagement Survey, and capacity management
- Coaches and develops talent within and across the team
- Provides leadership and ensures compliant execution of the Third-Party Program requirements for the portfolio of vendors
- Manages overall portfolio of vendors and ensures team provides effective and recurring status updates on vendor relationship health to our FLU Process Owners and COO
- Maintains strong relationships with FLU stakeholders, ensuring that they have necessary awareness and understanding of Third-Party Management requirements and vendor compliance
- Understand business strategy as it relates to vendor rationalization, the overall satisfaction of the business with the vendors, and potential need for new/alternate vendors
- Effectively manage vendor onboarding and off boarding from the portfolio
- Ensure appropriate awareness, debate, remediation/acceptance and escalation of vendor issues and emerging risks to internal Governance Forums
- Maintains own knowledge of Global Procurement’s Third-Party Management Program and Flu-specific requirements. Provides feedback / input on upcoming changes and improvement opportunities
- Maintains solid relationships and communication with various partners such as Global Procurement (GP), GIS, GCOR
- Reviews and approves deliverables (vendor scorecards, issues, escalation documentation, etc.) and supports ad-hoc requests in accordance with the Third-Party Management program
- Manages team and vendor performance against metrics, inclusive of timely and accurate deliverables, vendor GIS assessments and finding remediation, vendor contract compliance to standards
- Responds accurately and timely to internal Corporate Audit and external Exam requests
- Ensures appropriate engagement with senior relationship managers at vendors, as appropriate to the FLU requirements
- Ensures team participates effectively in miscellaneous projects as needs arise (process improvements, AIAI/SIAI responses, regulatory support)
- Leveraging required tools & systems to support the day-to-day role
