To support our team and strengthen the growth of our business, we are looking for an **Investment Consultant.**

**What can you expect**:

- This position reports directly to the Head of Advisory in Mercer Wealth business in Singapore.
- The individual will focus on building relationships, developing the business, and providing consulting advice to institutional investors across the region (such as sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, government agencies and financial institutions).

**We will count on you to**:

- Assist the Lead/Principal Consultant in client projects relating to strategic asset allocation, investment governance and investment implementation, including manager searches and monitoring.
- Supervise and mentor analysts within the team to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of work.
- Develop strong relationships with new and existing clients to drive business growth.
- Actively contribute in preparing proposals and pitch materials and supporting business development meetings.
- Produce performance evaluation reports by using Mercer proprietary tools and Microsoft tools.
- Prepare and manage the development of the quarterly market environment presentation, which includes the general state of the economy and performance of the investment assets.
- Keep up to date on developments within the fund management companies.
- Communicate with investment managers and custodians to gather and/or clarify client-specific data for reporting.
- Closely examine and monitor developments at investment management firms and notify clients of critical issues in an accurate and timely manner.
- Support periodic and ad-hoc inquiries from clients.
- Attend and participate in quarterly client meetings. Over time meeting responsibilities will increase and the Consultant will be expected to present and drive areas of increasing complexity.

**What you need to have**:

- Bachelor’s Degree with strong academic track record.
- 4 to 8 years of relevant experience in investments.
- Strong background in fund management or investment consulting.
- Good technical knowledge and prior experience in pension and investment markets.
- Team player with a positive mindset.
- Ability to communicate complex issues in a confident and coherent manner.
- Flexible, entrepreneurial, solutions-oriented and can work on own initiative.
- High energy, proactive and desire to see things done efficiently.
- Keen attention to detail with prior project management experience.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure to meet tight timelines.
- Proactive in developing key business relationships with institutional clients in Asia to help the team in meeting its revenue targets.
- Relevant certifications in M5, M6, M6A, M8, M8A and M3 certifications would be a plus.
- CFA and/or CAIA qualification are added advantages.
