The IT Governance Specialist will maintain the IT governance framework which is developed to align with SIM's requirements, industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with all IT and Digital functions to ensure adherence to the IT governance and risk management framework.
- Coordinate all audits within the cluster and work with the relevant functions to ensure timely and effective closure of any findings.
- Oversee all IT policies and procedures for timely review to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
- Maintain all mechanisms designed to monitor the performance of IT governance processes and controls to track and drive improvements for effectiveness.
- Support risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and threats to SIM’s IT infrastructure and data.
- Ensure that SIM’s IT policies and procedures are compliant with relevant laws and standards.
- Support the review of policies and procedures for effective data governance, retention, and access controls.
- Evaluate current IT services and systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma/Degree in Information Systems or equivalent
- Have at least 5 years of experience in IT Governance
- Familiar with any IT Governance or IT Control Framework
- Strong verbal and written communication skills including syndicating IT topics with technical and non-technical employees.
- Excellent interpersonal, strong people and communication skills both written and oral with proven ability to communicate at all levels.
- Ability to bridge people, processes, and information to produce appropriate results; ability to connect the dots.
- IT Audit and risk management background will be preferred.
