This is a Data Governance Specialist role to support the Data Quality pillar of DBS Data Governance Model in Risk Management Group (RMG)
- 1) Ensure issues in RMG Data Issues Log are properly followed up, status reported and resolved within expected timelines.

2) Ensure Critical Data Attributes have DQ monitoring in place

3) Drive data related initiatives

4) Host RMG Data Quality forum (including preparation of meeting materials) and represent RMG to attend Group level Data Issue meetings

5) Organize cross-department discussion to resolve data issues.

6) Work with RMG stakeholders on setting up data quality monitoring reports and review process Job Purpose
- Role is a Data Governance Specialist to support the data management practice of the Bank’s Risk Management Group (RMG)
- Primary role is to assist with the execution in Risk Management Group (RMG) of the

4 pillars of the Bank’s Data Governance Model, which are: Data Ownership, Data Discoverability, Data Quality and Data Access.

And also taking lead roles in some Data Management related exercises (e.g. Data Ingestion projects).

Key Accountabilities

1. Ensure issues in the RMG Data Quality Log are properly followed up, status reported and resolved within expected timelines.

2. Ensure Critical Data Attributes have Date Quality monitoring in place.

3. Ensure RMG owned data has complete and proper business metadata in place

4. Ensure RMG data has identified owners.

5. Ensure Data users to have proper data access timely.

6. Ensure annual review of BCBS239 reports are properly facilitated among RMG units and overseas locations, and information are kept up to date in the metadata documentation system.

Job Duties & responsibilities

1. Involved in organizing the Monthly Data Quality forum including preparation of meeting material.

2. Organize cross-department discussion to resolve data quality issues.

3. Work with RMG stakeholders on setting up data quality monitoring reports and review process.

4. Review and prepare business metadata for Data Ingestion exercises.

5. Participate in data ownership discussion and follow-ups.

6. Assist in review and setup of the data access for users.

7. Drive data management related exercise, such as annual review of BCBS239 reports
