Data Governance Engineer
Overall 8+ years of IT experience with 6+ years in Data & Analytics including 4 years in the Data Governance domain
Experience of at least 1 large data management program involving data catalog creation / glossary definition, data lineage and data quality
Understanding of key data governance and management foundational topics (e.g., data policy and controls, critical data elements, data linage, metadata governance, data quality, data lifecycle)
Hands on experience in industry leading data governance Platforms such as Collibra, Informatica EDC / Informatica Axon, IBM IGC, Solidatus, Alation etc.
Hands on experience in industry leading data quality and data protection management practices such as Informatica IDQ, Quality Stage, Ataccama etc.
Strong data profiling experience with resolving data quality and data lineage challenges
Collect and management metadata, including business glossary and data lineage using data governance tools
Experience of creating of data flow diagrams, configuring workflows, building data inventory and lineages
Ability to perform various PoCs & PoTs across the ecosystem of Tools between Collibra (Catalog and Lineage) and tools for Sensitive Data Discovery (BigID or something similar tool), Metadata Crawler (Manta, Alation) & Lineage Visualisation (Solidatus)
Identifying areas for improvement and implementing solution frameworks and processes leveraging data governance tools and other data management tools in landscape
Knowledge of BFSI domain is preferred
