While a media background or familiarity with media channels is beneficial, the core responsibility lies in meticulously handling financial transactions, optimizing operational workflows, and leveraging data to improve efficiency. In this role it will be critical to embrace WPP & WPP Media’s shared core values: - Be **Extraordinary** by _Leading Collectively_ to _Inspire transformational Creativity._ - Create an **Open** environment by_ Balancing People and Client Experiences_ by _Cultivating Trust_. - Lead **Optimistically** by _Championing Growth_ _and Development_ to _Mobilize the Enterprise_ - Minimum of two years’ experience in finance, accounting, or operations, ideally within a media or advertising environment. - Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field. - ** Exceptional** organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail, crucial for accurate financial record-keeping. - Excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to identify discrepancies or inefficiencies in billing and operational workflows and proactively find resolutions. - Ability to analyze financial data and identify trends or anomalies related to campaign spending and billing accuracy. - Mindset towards process optimization, both through manual processes and through technology (e.g., billing systems, automation tools). - Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, demonstrating a mature ability to handle many things at once under pressure, particularly during month-end close or audit periods. - Experience working with vendors to ensure accurate billing and reconciliation processes. - Ability to work with tight deadlines and on multiple projects, demonstrating a mature ability to handle multiple things at once under pressure. - Command of the Microsoft suite (Excel and PPT in particular); advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP) are highly preferred.
