**THE OPPORTUNITY**

CONTEXT

We are looking for a senior attorney for our office in Singapore who will be part of a global legal team but our only legal counsel in this region.

ROLE:
We are looking for a pragmatic senior attorney with experience in SaaS (Cloud), partner agreements, procurement, and other technology agreements to join our growing legal team and support our APAC business. This is an individual contributor role reporting to our Sr. Director\Associate General Counsel. This is a hybrid position working 3 days per week in our offices in Singapore.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO WITH US**
- Structure, draft, negotiate complex SaaS (Cloud) agreements, partner agreements professional services contracts with public sector and enterprise customers in APAC and globally.
- Advise on a variety of technology and commercial agreements, including terms governing Ivalua’s e-procurement solution, implementation services agreements, reseller relationships, professional services and other technology agreements
- Work closely with internal clients across the business, including sales, information security, privacy, finance and professional services, to provide legal support, proactively identify issues, share potential concerns, and craft solutions in supporting the commercialization of our industry-leading products and services
- Provide legal support for the company’s privacy, data, and security initiatives as they relate to technology and commercial agreements
- Counsel internal clients with respect to contract compliance and governance matters, serve as a resource to Ivalua’s customer success, customer support, finance and other organizations with respect to ongoing contract and legal matters

**YOUR PROFILE**

**Skills and Experience**

If you have the below experience and strengths this role could be for you
- Qualified to practice law in Singapore and/or Australia.
- Minimum 7+ years practicing in an in-house legal department for a multinational technology company and/or top law firm focusing on enterprise SaaS and software-related negotiations and transactions in APAC, especially in Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines India and Australia/NZ.
- Prior technology experience is required. Other useful areas of experience include data security, data/privacy, government contracting, and intellectual property
- Ability to travel in and to APAC, France and United States on recurring basis
- Works well independently and with a highly collaborative team, process driven, and with proven ability to multi-task and set priorities cross-functionally
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills; French and other languages desirable
- Self-motivated, nimble and able to learn quickly, strong work ethic
- Business-oriented and creative problem solver; excellent business judgment and ability to assess legal risk while also thinking strategically and providing sound, practical advice under tight deadlines and when presented novel scenarios
- Energized by working in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment
