As a Procurement Specialist you are responsible for purchase order placement, purchase order management, on time delivery of products and services, and on time payment to suppliers. In addition, you will act as the key point of contact for suppliers on all purchase order related activities, reports, and business relationship

**As a Buying/Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for**:

- Collaborating with Global Category Team on Sourcing Category Strategy, Supplier Selection and Onboarding, and Supplier Negotiations to achieve deflation initiatives
- Managing Supplier Delivery and Quality Performance, Cost and Inventory management, and Supplier Relationship Management
- Purchase Order Execution and Product Delivery, including placement of On-Time Schedule Agreements and Execution of Cost Reduction
- Managing end to end activity starting from Purchase Order Issuance, Purchase Order Acknowledgement, executing MRP exception message, Logistics Arrangement till Goods Receipt in the system
- Resolving Ariba Invoicing Issues
- Collaborating with Supplier Quality Team for Supplier Performance and Quality issues.
- Working closely with cross functional team members to achieve On Time Supply and resolving issues which may arise during Purchase Order Life Cycle Management

**To be successful in this role you will**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial, Supply Chain, Business or a related field with minimum 3 years’ relevant experience/knowledge is preferred.
- Strong Communication and Negotiation skills
- Good Organizational and Time Management skills
- Good knowledge of Purchasing practices, principles and procedures
- Strong Team Player and ability to work well with a team
- Experience with SAP system
- Ability to balance multiple tasks in challenging, fast-paced work environment
- Strong technical knowledge and ability to read engineering drawing is preferred
