Baker Hughes has an opening for a Procurement Specialist in Singapore. The position will support the Supply Chain CWI Manufacturing Division.

As a Procurement Specialist you will oversee the effective purchasing of defined work, accurate raw material status reporting, and control and expedite in a professional manner in accordance with Strategy.

As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for:

- Collaborating with Global Category Team on Sourcing Category Strategy, Supplier Selection and Onboarding, and Supplier Negotiations to achieve deflation initiatives
- Managing Supplier Delivery and Quality Performance, Cost and Inventory management, and Supplier Relationship Management
- Executing Purchase Order and Product Delivery, including placement of On-Time Schedule Agreements and Execution of Cost Reduction
- Managing end-to-end activity starting from PO Issuance, PO Acknowledgement, executing MRP exception message, Logistics Arrangement till Goods Receipt in the system
- Collaborating with Supplier Quality Team for Supplier Performance and Quality issues

**Fuel your passion**

To be successful in this role you will:

- Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial, Supply Chain, Business or a related field
- Have a good communication and negotiation skills, as well as good organizational and time management skills
- Have an acquired knowledge of completion tools raw material and grade
- Have a good knowledge of Purchasing practices, principles and procedures
- Have a Procurement experience in SAP and Ariba system
- Have a technical knowledge and ability to read engineering drawing
