**Your new role**

You will report to the Head of Fleet Management and be responsible for the following:

- Lead a team of managers to be responsible for the safe, effective and efficient operations of the entire vessel fleet operating within the Singapore port limit;
- Work closely with key stakeholders to review, improve and implement policies and procedures on resource allocation, operations, crewing, training, health, safety and environment so as to achieve the required service levels and performance targets;
- Work closely with key stakeholders to review, improve and implement required management systems across the various fleet teams, and lead near-miss and incident evaluation to ensure all corrective and preventive measures are carried out;
- Ensure the vessel fleet is in compliance with the prevailing maritime and port regulations, flag and class requirements, vessel survey and certification as well as relevant industry best practices;
- Ensure that the vessel fleet is operated within budget and carry out regular reviews on operating expenses and other relevant aspects;
- Work closely with key stakeholders on acquisition and disposal of marine assets, vessel newbuilding programs and support both local and overseas business development projects;
- Spearhead programs on fleet sustainability and decarbonisation, pioneer digitalisation and process improvement as well as create the necessary conditions to encourage innovation and support culture transformation; and
- Work closely with key stakeholders to mentor, coach and co-drive people and organisational development programs as well as facilitate external and internal engagement and branding communications.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- At least five years’ experience leading different functional teams, fostering strong teamwork and partnering with different stakeholders in a fast-paced and dynamic environment to achieve buy-in and results;
- Be able to demonstrate strong interest and experience with workforce transformation, employee engagement and organisational development efforts; and
- Strong leadership skills and personal mastery, and be conversant in building a compelling shared vision, bridging diverse perspectives, catalysing positive change and influencing success in others.
- A Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree
