As a Chef at Ju Eng Home, play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and satisfaction of our residents by providing them with nutritious and delicious meals. You are responsible for preparing and cooking meals according to dietary requirements, ensuring high standards of food safety and hygiene, and contributing to a positive dining experience for our residents.

You will be leading a team of litchen staff consisting of Assistant Cook and Kitchen Assistants.

**Requirements**:

- Certification or training in food handling and safety (e.g., Basic Food Hygiene Course) is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Cook or Chef, preferably in a healthcare or senior living setting.
- Familiarity with dietary restrictions and specialized diets, such as diabetic, low-sodium, and texture-modified diets.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations, including HACCP principles.
- Excellent culinary skills and creativity in meal preparation and presentation.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and interact with residents and their families.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A genuine passion for serving others and promoting the well-being of residents through nutritious and delicious meals.
- The role may require standing for extended periods and lifting heavy objects, such as pots and pans.
- The work environment includes exposure to hot surfaces, steam, and sharp kitchen utensils.
- Flexible scheduling may be required to accommodate meal times and special events.
