National Gallery Singapore is a leading visual arts institution which oversees the world’s largest public collection of Singapore and Southeast Asian modern art. Situated at the birthplace of modern Singapore, in the heart of the Civic District, the Gallery is housed in two national monuments - City Hall and former Supreme Court - that have been beautifully restored and transformed into this exciting 64,000 square metre venue. In 2020, the Gallery was the only museum in Southeast Asia that received a ranking in The Art Newspaper’s annual global survey of attendance at art museums, taking 20th place. It was the first museum in Asia to receive the Children in Museums Award by the European Museum Academy and Hands On International Association of Children in Museums in 2018. The Gallery also won the awards for “Best Theme Attraction” at TTG Travel Awards 2017, “Best Attraction Experience”, “Breakthrough Contribution to Tourism” and “Best Customer Service (Attractions)” at the prestigious Singapore Tourism Awards in 2016 for its role in adding to the vibrancy of Singapore’s tourism landscape.

DESIGNATION : Senior Executive (Partnership Development) - 3-month Contract

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in donor stewardship
- Support donor cultivation, fundraising programmes and events
- Support analysis on donor database
- Maintain accurate and timely updates on donor database
- Assist with donor prospect research
- Assist with general duties including management of mailing/distribution lists
- Assist with donor prospect research
- Support gift administration and execution, including assisting with donor recognition and reports for major gifts, cash and in-kind contributions, art adoption, funding grants and annual giving pledges
- Support post-exhibition/programme reporting
- Support Development Committee Secretariat
- Assist with general duties including management of mailing/distribution lists

QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimally 2 years of working experience in management reporting, strategic planning, market research or related field
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills are essential; working knowledge of other languages is a plus
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in PowerPoint and Excel
- Highly organised, detail-oriented and enjoys challenge of working on KPI dashboards and writing of operating procedures
- Customer-centric people person
- An excellent team player able to manage multiple projects and work across different levels of stakeholders
- Positive, collaborative personality and strong work ethic as an individual and team contributor
- Familiarity with donor stewardship programmes and/or fundraising is a plus
- Passion for the mission of The Gallery and the ability to inspire others in that mission
