Supervisor

**Responsibility**:
The Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operations of freight transport and the manufacturing of fabricated metal products, including specialized items like voice coil magnets. This role requires a combination of logistics management, production oversight, quality control, safety compliance, and team leadership. The Supervisor will ensure that all production schedules are met, quality standards are upheld, transportation operations are optimized, and safety and regulatory guidelines are strictly followed.

**Manage Freight Operations**:

- Oversee the scheduling, coordination, and dispatch of freight shipments (both domestic and international), ensuring timely and accurate deliveries of goods.
- Supervise transportation processes, including route planning and optimizing fleet performance.

**Logistics Optimization**:

- Ensure efficient use of transportation resources (vehicles, routes, etc.) and continuously seek opportunities for cost reduction without sacrificing service quality.
- Monitor inventory levels, track shipments, and adjust transport plans based on customer needs and unforeseen challenges.

**Fleet and Equipment Management**:

- Oversee the maintenance and safety of the transportation fleet, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Supervise drivers, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, delivery schedules, and proper documentation.

**Quality Control**:

- Supervise product inspections and quality assurance processes to ensure all manufactured products meet technical specifications and quality standards.
- Implement corrective actions when quality issues are identified, and improve manufacturing processes for better consistency and quality.
- Ensure the availability of raw materials, tools, and equipment necessary for the manufacturing process.

**Documentation & Customer Service**:

- Ensure proper completion of shipping documents (e.g., bills of lading, customs forms, invoices).
- Act as the main point of contact for customers and vendors, resolving issues such as delays, damages, or discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records for both freight transport and manufacturing activities, including shipment tracking, inventory levels, production logs, and quality checks.
- Prepare regular reports on operational performance, including production metrics, safety issues, and budget status, and present these to senior management.

**Safety and Compliance**:

- Ensure all freight transport activities comply with local, national, and international laws (e.g., hazardous material handling, environmental regulations).
- Oversee loading/unloading procedures to prevent damage to goods and ensure safe handling of materials.

**Team Supervision & Development**:

- Lead, train, and motivate a team of production workers, ensuring efficient work practices, safety, and skill development.
- Provide guidance on best practices for fabrication techniques, troubleshooting, and problem-solving during the production process.

**Troubleshooting & Problem Solving**:

- Identify and resolve operational issues in both freight transport and manufacturing areas.
- Work proactively to eliminate bottlenecks and production delays, ensuring smooth workflows.

**Requirement**:

- At least 2 Year(s) of working experience and have experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Must possess at least a higher Education/ Diploma in any field.
- Able to take Class 4/5 Driving License.
- Strategic & critical thinking as well as decision-making and negotiation skills.
- Able to adapt, prioritize, exercise initiative, manage pressure, multi-task and work independently.
- Excellent customer service skills, including communication skills, problem-solving skills, organizational skills, and teamwork spirit.
- Able to carry heavy goods, roughly 20KG - 40KG.
- Time management/ meticulous and mature in work.
- Assist in ad-hoc duties when necessary.
- Able to work under pressure and hot environment.
- Flexibility working time, need work on public holidays, weekends, and overtime if requirement.
