**About Our Client**:
Our client is the global asset management business of a well-known financial group. They are a leading global investment manager with more than $1.2 trillion in assets under management, offices in twenty countries, offering a range of investment solutions for retail and institutional investors around the world across a broad range of asset classes: public fixed income, private fixed income, fundamental equity, quantitative equity, real estate and alternatives.
They are now looking for a Senior Communications Executive to lead their communications strategy and execution in APAC across all business units.
- Manage and execute strategic external communications plans and earned media campaigns
- Partner with US and EMEA communications colleagues and the marketing teams of businesses to shape and implement communications strategy in the region
- Identify and leverage macro trends to inform and position appropriate business narratives, and create multi-layered communications plans to amplify these narratives
- Use business and product fluency to uncover differentiated media angles of interest for pitches
- Establish and nurture relationships with media targets, both traditional and non-traditional
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the businesses
- Manage and direct relationships with local agency resources
- Develop key messages for media spokespeople and facilitate media interviews
- Support the growing need for regionally-tailored internal communications efforts
- Draft and secure approvals for press releases and other media materials
- Plan and host media events
- Design and implement reporting and measurement initiatives

**The Successful Applicant**:

- About 5 years of communications experience in the asset management industry. Consultancy background beneficial, in-house experience essential
- Comprehensive understanding of the asset management industry, the culture and corresponding client profiles; multiple asset class knowledge an advantage: public and private fixed income, public equities and private markets especially real estate
- Impeccable writing and editing skills
- News judgement and media relations experience, strong relationship with top tier press in Singapore and across the region
- Strong project management skills and ability to devise and execute campaigns
- Knowledge of content and channel strategy across traditional, social and emerging platforms
