**Job Description**:
This role is the main interface between Sirtex Medical products and its customers.
The primary objective is to develop and manage business strategies to achieve profitable business relationships with existing SIRT centres. The KAM will establish new centres where appropriate, while maintaining lasting relationships with existing treating Interventional Radiologists and Nuclear Medicine Physicians. Additionally, to grow the number of patients referred to each existing SIRT centres by increasing the number of referring Oncologists, Hepatologists, Hepatobiliary surgeons and Gastroenterologists.
This position helps Sirtex achieve its objectives by conveying customer needs and requirements, providing training, information and advice to the customer, and reporting any incidents or complaints to allow Sirtex to meet its regulatory obligations.
- Achieve sales target by accurately identifying the potential of all industry related health care professionals.; and work with these identified professionals to drive patient referral and treatment with SIR-Spheres Y90 resin microspheres.
- Develop and implement account plans for key accounts and partners to generate strategic relationships that will result in sales within assigned territory.
- Develop new and maintain existing business relationships across various specialities to promote SIRT as a treatment option for selected patients.
- Evaluate and implement participation in hospitals formularies, tenders for SIR-Spheres Y90 resin microspheres.
- Organise meetings and workshops to promote SIR-Spheres Y90 resin microspheres in assigned territory.
- Ensure effective management of territory by efficient time management, record keeping, resource utilisation and customer frequency that meet Company’s requirements.
- Continually monitor and analyse opportunities for new business within the designated territories.
- Actively participate in meetings and development activities to ensure sales skills, product and industry knowledge are maintained.
- Assist in covering trade shows/symposiums/meetings.
- Attend pre-Y90 work ups procedures and Y90 treatments in the radiology/angio-suite when required.
- Provide product demonstrations and trainings to doctors and all health care professionals in the hospitals.
- Timely submission of monthly report to the VP Sales - Asia Pacific on sales performance, activities, sales forecast, market intelligence, and customer feedback.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the VP Sales - Asia Pacific.
- Observe and comply with all Sirtex Corporate Policies.
- Work within, and ensure adherence to Quality System procedures, work instructions and other Quality System requirements.
- Work within, and ensure adherence to Health, Safety and Environment Management System procedures, instructions and other requirements.

**Qualifications**:
Tertiary qualifications
- Minimum 5 years sales experience in medical device/biotechnology/pharmaceutical; oncology/radiology experience will be an added advantage.
- Demonstrate consistent sales success over time
- Strong communication skills and with ability to present clinical knowledge and information in a highly effective manner.
- Ability to establish sound interpersonal relationships with a variety of people, both internally and externally.
- Driven, motivated and with positive attitude.
- Strong team player with good interpersonal skills
- Professional, presentable and customer oriented.
