Singapore Commercial Innovation Lead

**Job Description**:

- Lead the development, strategy and country implementation of a new Customer Engagement Model (nCEM), based on the Global Customer 360 (C360) blueprint, to strategically transform our HCP engagement model to future/new multi-channel/omni-channel engagement model and differentiate the Amgen customer experience.
- Work closely with regional and/or global stakeholders (eg. Global Commercial Excellence/BAI teams, Global C360 teams) to support local affiliate commercial teams on rollout of the nCEM.
- Enhance the overall commercial innovation offering, including but not limited to digital strategy and capabilities, enhanced customer engagement strategy, and patient value that will address current and future customer needs (this role is the key lead across functions e.g., IS, Medical, Marketing, Compliance etc to drive content development for brands with multi-channel touchpoints).
- Lead a test-and-learn approach to commercial innovation, working closely with cross-functional partners, implement plans to scale pilots and embed into existing commercial teams to promote sustainable performance
- Lead all aspects of Commercial Excellence / BAI (Business Analysis & Insights) / SFE (Sales Force Effectiveness) in the affiliate, working closely with the country head and brand teams, including driving Veeva CRM utilization, generating insights and tracking on key SFE metrics (eg. call coverage, frequency, multi-channel touchpoints), physician profiling, segmentation & targeting (S&T), design of multichannel customer plans (MCCPs), supporting sales target setting and incentive calculations.
- Plan and implement capability training for commercial teams (e.g., digital bootcamps, selling and marketing excellence, multi-channel customer engagement)
- Manage and coach Data & Insights Analyst to support omnichannel capabilities and other business analytic needs (e.g., Sales incentive calculations) for affiliate teams
- Member and active participant of the Amgen Singapore & Malaysia Leadership Team, reporting directly to the Singapore & Malaysia General Manager

**Qualifications and requirements**:
We are looking for scientific and business professionals who are highly motivated, digital savvy, curious to create new business processes, and collaborate with existing core business teams to lead the transformation to a new operating model.
- At least 5 years of relevant commercial experience (e.g., sales and marketing) in the biotech, pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, including commercial innovation, commercial excellence (SFE), digital, data analytics and strategic planning
- A proven track record of designing innovation pilots and scaling fresh ideas leading to successful implementation & execution
- Experience in product strategic planning, including developing differentiated brand positioning, messaging and designing customer touchpoints and experiences
- Experience in physician profiling and S&T (segmentation and targeting), digital content creation, building multi-channel customer plans and journeys
- Innovative and disruptive thinker who can inspire and persuade others to adopt ideas using compelling data and insights
- Experience in driving and leading change management initiatives
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and work successfully with varied stakeholders and executives not only locally, but also from regional and global
- Strong analytical skills, demonstrated by the ability to identify and interpret complex issues and provide appropriate recommendations to senior management and across functional areas
- B.A. or B.Sc. required; MBA and/or advanced degree, as well as Life sciences / medical degree preferred
