Oracle Cerner is looking for a Principal Consultant with extensive experience in Oracle Cerner’s Physician Track solution to join the Consulting team in Australia. This is an exciting team that looks to push the boundaries of what can be done and is part of the wider organization of Oracle Cerner Consulting. You will be part of a dynamic team in which collaborative working will be paramount. As well as delivering value to clients, you will be expected to contribute and identify areas for process improvement internally.

As a Principal Consultant, you will consult with Oracle Cerner clients to deliver consulting services and advise clients on workflows across service lines, and guide clients through interdependencies and design decision impacts. You will create strategic plan with client to obtain value achievement across service line and identify workflow and process improvements and make recommendations to client and project leadership. You will also drive cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders to identify and propose solution enhancements, workflow efficiencies and client relationship strategies. You will be expected to engage in the sales process to assist with accurate quoting of contractual scope and hours.

**Basic Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree **and/or** 6 years related work experience
- Plus 2 years completed higher education **and/or** additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job including:

- 1 year in healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support, **and/or** other client-facing or HCIT solution work experience

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with Australia Physician workflows
- Experience in PowerChart Critical Care Solution.
- Experience in PowerChart Ambulatory Solution
- Experience in PowerChart Nursing Solution.
- Familiar with other Care Delivery Solutions.

**Expectations**:

- Must be willing to travel up to 80% as needed
- Ability to work overtime and irregular hours as needed

**Detailed Description and Job Requirements**

Intermediate consulting position operating independently with some assistance and guidance to provide quality work products to a project team or customer that comply with Oracle methodologies and practices. Performs standard duties and tasks with some variation to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer specifications.

Standard assignments are accomplished without assistance by exercising independent judgment, within defined policies and processes, to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements.

2-5 years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
