**Senior Accountant, Beach House Pictures**

Reporting to the Financial Controller, Beach House Pictures..

**Core Responsibilities & Duties**
- Financial & Management Accounting: _
- Hands on with AP, AR and all aspects of the month-end closing process, including working closely with cross functional teams to ensure timely and accurate close in compliance to IFRS.
- Prepare and review journal entries for accrued/deferred revenue, prepaid expenses, work in progress, IMDA grants, etc.
- Assist with internal and external audit processes and controls as required.
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and actual vs. budget reports.
- Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with the preparation of the annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts.
- Other ad hoc tasks as directed.
- Treasury, Taxation & Risk: _
- Preparation of weekly/monthly cash flow forecast.
- Assisting with management of tax compliance, as required.
- Assisting with IMDA and other grants, and audit queries as required.
- Other ad hoc tasks as directed.
- Production Specific: _
- Coordinate the collection all Royalty receivables.
- Managing third part reporting and residuals obligations.
- Other ad hoc tasks as directed.

**Key Qualifications & Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/related field is required.
- Other recognized Professional Qualification such as CPA or CA would be an asset.
- Prior relevant 4+ years accounting experience is required.
- Effective in managing deadlines and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience using NetSuite, QuickBooks, MYOB would be an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (i.e., pivot tables, vlookups, sumif, etc).
