At AGD, we aim to be a future-ready leader in transforming Public Sector finance by putting finance at the heart of our decision-making. We do this through building a strong foundation in providing robust financial systems and processes that serve key stakeholders including our pensioners, vendors and the public sector. Our team of accounting professionals work at AGD and are deployed to the public agencies to deliver a wide range of financial and accounting-related services to the Public Service. Together we play a critical role in helping the Government achieve its fiscal and economic objectives through sound stewardship and governance. You will work in a team involved in conceptualising and developing accounting standards and sustainability reporting standards for the Singapore public sector. What You Will Be Working On Monitor the latest international developments in accounting standards and sustainability reporting standards and critically assess the impact of these developments on the Singapore public sector Develop and maintain training materials, and conduct training to support the implementation and consistent application of financial reporting and sustainability reporting practices Provide advice on a range of technical areas, such as accounting standards, sustainability reporting standards and auditing standards Explore, catalyse and/or implement initiatives to enhance sustainability capabilities within the public sector finance community What We Are Looking For Tertiary qualification in Accountancy, Business or Finance related disciplines CA Singapore certification is preferred A keen interest in accounting standards and sustainability reporting standards and their latest developments At least 3 years of working experience in financial statements audit or other positions involving the application/development of accounting and financial reporting standards Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks and standards, and experience in corporate sustainability reporting will be advantageous You will be notified whether you have been shortlisted within 4 weeks from the closing date of this job posting Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Contract Job function Finance and Accounting/Auditing Industries Accounting #J-18808-Ljbffr
