**JOB DESCRIPTION** - Respond to client’s pre and post bid technical questions in an efficient and clear manner to maximize clients’ confidence in proposal provided - Recommends annual sales goal and appraises senior management on status of aftersales and service opportunities - Coordinate and participation in sales and service “Road Show" - Formulate strong after-sales goals such as Service Contract Implementation, with the objectives of supporting sales - Responsible for service and after sales business in UK (capable of doing physical maintenance on-site) - Drive growth in the business by being pro-active in sales efforts - Management of the network of service sub-contractors (technical support, coordination, development of competences, extension or reduction of network, commercial agreements) - Administration of own work **ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES** - A proven track record in sales and a strong network of clientele for B2B events - Must demonstrate the ability to grow the portfolio by bringing and securing new clients and events - Make decisions and resolve customer queries quickly and effectively - Ability to work independently and thrive on a dynamic working environment - A strong negotiator and good at networking and closing deals - Excellent at collaboration and teamwork - Strong in communication and relationship skills with the ability to drive engagement and interest in most situations - Highly organized with good project management and analytical skills - Comfortable with the use of technology, social media, and paperless business processes - Strong MS Office skills, particularly in Excel - Ready to work flexible hours including weekends, evening, and nights, based on the demands of the business - Ability to utilize all available resources to ensure maximum revenue - Cultivate and maintains relationships with clients **QUALIFICATIONS** - Degree or diploma holder - Background or equivalent with vessel system knowledge will be a plus - With at least 5 years of managerial experience - Fluency in spoken and written English and Mandarin to achieve effective and conclusive business negotiations - Highly efficient in CRM/ERP and other evolving business platforms desired
