**Jobscope**:

- Ensure and provide technical assistance to defined production areas (e.g. increase of a plant’s availability and reliability, reduction of investment and production costs, debottlenecking, quality improvement, etc.)
- Find and recommend concepts related to smart operations for targeting cost reduction, quality increase, production availability, environmental efficiency improvements etc.
- Use sound engineering judgment, creativity and foresight to initiate and to execute studies, projects and new developments, as well as to anticipate and solve unprecedented problems with a focus on long term technical solutions
- Ensure and provide exchange of information and establish relationships with other NC plants in order to utilize these valuable resources for improvements.
- Provide strategies for future development in cooperation with production, research and development, applied technology and superiors. In addition, provide development work, define the scope for development projects, as well as prepare time schedules and cost estimates.
- Contributes to maintain and administer facility quality, safety and environmental programs/processes, including non-conformance action items and MOC processes.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor or Master in chemical or mechanical Engineering
- Min 10 years experience in chemical production or chemical project engineering
- Good understanding of chemical processes and related equipment
- Experience in project engineering and execution in related industry (ie IT based projects)
- Organizational skills to plan and schedule
- Ability to manage internal and external workforce
- Cost awareness and basic understanding of accounting principles
- Ability to communicate to all levels of the organization
- Aptitude towards computer programs and engineering tools
- Reliability, also under pressure
- Willing to work in Jurong Island
