**Objectives**:

- Operating the Antioxidant (AO) manufacturing plant and ensure compliance to all production, Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) and quality standards
- Full familiarity with both Panel Distributed Control System (DCS) and Field operations for all the production lines

**Responsibilities**:

- Operates Delta V to control, monitor and troubleshoot process units
- Familiarity with Emergency procedures for the safe operation and shutdown of units through DCS
- Perform field operator routines such as RM and catalyst filling, SAMACO rounds, preparation of equipment for Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), filter change outs etc.
- Ensure the correct usage and maintenance of PPEs for all the associated field tasks
- Understand the EHS risk associated with their tasks by reading the respective EHS risk assessment
- Coordinate and work with the team members and contractors to complete plant tasks in a safe and timely manner
- In case of emergency, performs the activities of a firefighting brigade member after shutting down the plant safely as per the emergency shutdown procedure.
- Performs in-process sampling and testing
- Performs simple maintenance jobs, opening and boxing up of equipment, handles tools in accordance with safety requirement
- Trouble shoots where required; initiates corrective measures in accordance with his supervisors and maintains proper documentation trail; update process log
- book and hand over documents.
- Participate in plant safety activities and act as a role model in housekeeping and safety programs
- Report all accident, injury, near miss, unsafe conditions and behavior to immediate Supervisor so that remedial actions can be taken to eliminate risk. Ensure full compliance to plant EHS programs such as Behavior Based Safety (BBS) / Hazard Elimination and Control Card (HEC)
- To participate as a team member for driving improvement initiatives and projects as identified by the Shift Leader and Production Manager
- Enhance contribution to the ESS (Employee suggestion scheme) by coming out with ideas for process optimization and improvement

**Requirements**:

- NITEC/Diploma in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in Chemical Plant
- Able to work on 12 hours shift (24/7) and must be willing to work extra hours if required
- Strong understanding of chemical process. Able to use of Microsoft office. (It will be added advantage if able to navigate SAP PM module)
