The Production Technician is responsible for all aspects of operating and maintaining the assigned production equipment. The Technician is responsible for setting up the equipment for compliance to order and project specification. The Technician must also proofread signs and conduct quality assurance to ensure the efficient production of high-quality and accurate products.

**POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Follow written layout instructions and guides to properly feed material and design requirements in the equipment program or software.
- Perform quality assurance measures by accurately reading and interpreting a work order and then proofing for errors or unacceptable standards.
- Report any quality issue to the supervisor in charge to ensure a consistently high-quality product is produced
- Inspect finished products for quality to ensure that required products are manufactured as per project requirements and specifications
- Report inventory levels and stock reorder needs to the manager as needed.
- Help unload and store raw materials, clean and maintain storage areas.
- Perform routine machine maintenance, troubleshoot and perform minor repairs when necessary
- Maintain production rate consistency; meet or exceed established minimum production rates.
- Manage workload to meet customer deadlines in a fast-paced job shop environment.
- Comply with relevant occupational health and safety requirements
- Work on different projects simultaneously.
- Keep the production area neat, clean and organized.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

- GCE ‘O’ level/ NITEC/ Diploma in Manufacturing or equivalent and/or related experience required
- Minimum of 12 months of previous experience in handling production equipment
- Related manufacturing experience is an advantage
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work most of the shift on feet
- Technical skills related to basic equipment maintenance required.
- Possess class 3 driving license is an advantage

**Salary**: $2,000.00 - $2,200.00 per month
